This case study showcases Blackburn Meadows WwTW upgrade, and we are proud that Integrated Utility Services played a key role in helping deliver this major step forward for Yorkshire Water.

As part of this £36.5m project, our team delivered the installation and commissioning of the transformers and HV connections that power the new tertiary solids removal plant and its CoMag® technology. Ensuring a resilient, efficient and future-proof electrical infrastructure was essential to enabling the outstanding phosphorus removal performance now being achieved on site.

Great to collaborate with Yorkshire Water, Glanua Group, and all project partners on a scheme that’s not only meeting stringent environmental standards, but setting a benchmark for sustainable wastewater treatment.

We are always proud to support projects that make a real difference for communities and the environment.
