As the demand for renewable energy continues to grow, reliable electrical infrastructure plays an important role in connecting sustainable energy projects to the network.
At Integrated Utility Services (IUS), we support solar developments through the design and delivery of electrical connections, helping clients bring their projects from concept through to completion.
One example is the ongoing project at Teesside Solar Farm, where the IUS team supported High View Energy and ROC ENERGY LIMITED with the delivery of their new electrical connection. The substation has been constructed in advance of the solar panels being installed.
Works carried out:
⚡1000kVA UDE supplied and installed.
⚡Earth study completed, with the earthing design developed and installed.
⚡11kV triplex cable installed from the substation to the point of connection (POC).
⚡Meter box installed, wired and commissioned.
The IUS team are also involved in the design of the contestable connection assets, liaising with the DNO and IDNO to support the approval and operational delivery of both contestable and non-contestable elements.
From providing base drawings for the substation base construction to guiding the clients through the connection process, IUS are supporting the project from design through to delivery.
As renewable energy projects continue to develop, IUS remains committed to delivering the electrical infrastructure that helps support a more sustainable energy future.
