Position Overview

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services and we are looking for anexperienced Electrical Fitter. This role can be based around the Stockton or Wakefield area.

As an Electrical Fitter, you would be primarily responsible with installation, construction, maintenance and repairof HV switchgear and automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • HV inspections and maintenance of DNO, (i)DNO and private network switchgear sites
  • Installation of switchgear, transformers, actuators and RTU’s for DNO, (i)DNO and private network sites
  • FPI replacements
  • Substation earthing and wiring

Key Competencies

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment ​

  • Excellent customer service skills​

  • Good communicator both verbal and written​

  • Excellent time management

Essential qualifications & attributes

·  Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training for Electrical Fitting on HV distribution networks

·  City and Guilds in Electrical Principles or relevant electrical qualification

·  DNO / (i)DNO Qualifications, ie;

  • Access and Supervision in locations with level 3 Security
  • HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and/or maintenance works

     

  • Previous experience of HV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, to include installation, construction and/or maintenance works
  • Driving Licence

Desirable qualification & attributes

·   Access and supervision in locations with level 3 security

·   HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and maintenance works

·  Previous experience of EHV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, including installation, construction and/or maintenance works.
